Adobe Crossed The Line!

I have some sad news for all the real creatives out there. Adobe is now using your content and data to train its AI models. That means everything you do and create in adobe, your images, your sliders, and your workflow are all being used to train its “Machine Learning” in other words AI. The good news is we currently have a way to turn it off for our content. Please do this, don’t pay to train something that they are trying to replace us with. This should have been an opt-in feature and not automatically turned on and hidden from its users.

Adobe is now also integrating more AI into its software. They are allowing AI-generated content on Adobe Stock. They are allowing AI to scrape our images off Behance without our consent. There is a shift in the company in support of AI and Ai generated images. This is a slap in the face to the creatives who have supported them for decades and are the company’s bread and butter.

This is hard because they are the industry standard for Design, Photography, and other creative products. As for me, I will be searching for suitable replacements for the Adobe, suite. I have already played with Capture One and it looks like a good replacement for Lightroom if not better in some ways. the hard ones to replace will be Indesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. I may be looking into Affinity to replace these.

Adobe openly admits to integrating more AI in its products and even AI-generated images.

“Adobe, along with many other innovators, has been experimenting with Generative AI.”
Scott Belsky

Please spread the word to other creatives.
